Göttingen
On May 17, on the way to a family party, we visited Göttingen. There resides a beautiful little church (St. Jacobkirche) with very unique decor:
"Geometric stripes zigzag up its columns, trick of the Middle Ages to create the illusion of
distance and movement." -The Rough Guide to Germany
Also, rather than traditional designs, the stained-glass windows of St. Jacobkirche are examples of modern-art. This one was my favorite:
(I loved the stained-glass windows so much that I even bought a postcard showing all of them.)
